Hemp is a fast-growing, regenerative crop that requires low water, no pesticides, and contributes to carbon sequestration and environmental health.

Kana is Mogu’s newest generation of bio-based acoustic wall and ceiling panels, made for interiors that don’t compromise on sustainability or performance. Each panel is crafted from a certified biodegradable blend of natural materials, built around hemp: a fast-growing, regenerative crop that needs minimal water, no pesticides, and captures CO₂ from the atmosphere as it grows.

With textures inspired by nature and a wide range of colors and finishes, Kana offers a radical alternative to traditional acoustic materials: rich, tactile surfaces and natural visual patterns that bring warmth to any space. Panels can be fully customized in color, texture, and surface to fit the specific vision of each project.

Mogu Kana acoustic panels combine advanced sound absorption performance with a thin, lightweight design. Kana helps reduce reverberation and improve acoustic comfort by absorbing unwanted sound reflections in interior spaces. Available in two thicknesses, 3/8″ and 3/4″, Kana offers flexible acoustic solutions while maintaining a minimal visual profile.

Kana panels can be installed across large wall surfaces and customized into different sizes and patterns to support a wide range of interior concepts. With V-Cut configurations and optional air gaps, the panels achieve enhanced sound absorption performance across a broad frequency range, making them suitable for workplaces, hospitality, educational spaces, and other environments where acoustic quality matters.
